Position: Data Analytics Intern

Duties: You will work with Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) who are senior members of the Development organization to perform data analyis, data cleaning and create reports. You will receive a combination of practical experience, peer coaching and support, and formal training in a work environment that fosters and rewards cooperation, teamwork, learning, and fun. This role is great for someone with an engineering/CS background interested in a career in software engineering, process or data analytics roles
Requirements: Candidates must be pursuing a master's level or a PhD level degree in a technical discipline

Responsibilities You will work with Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) who are senior members of the Development organization to perform data analyis, data cleaning and create reports. You will receive a combination of practical experience, peer coaching and support, and formal training in a work environment that fosters and rewards cooperation, teamwork, learning, and fun. This role is great for someone with an engineering/CS background interested in a career in software engineering, process or data analytics roles. This will allow you to gain: Data analytics process and tooling experience. Software development process experience. Opportunities to develop your communication, presentation and leadership skills. Minimum Qualifications Candidates must be pursuing a master's level or a PhD level degree in a technical discipline. Additional Qualifications Experience working with databases and data analytics software. Experience with MATLAB. Aptitude for learning new tools and technologies related to this role. Exceptional communication skills including clear and concise writing. Desire and ability to work in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment Why MathWorks?
