The successful applicant must be able to teach advanced statistics and actuarial science courses. Minimum Qualifications A PhD in mathematics and graduate coursework in statistics is required. Must have experience teaching actuarial science courses and advanced statistics courses at the college level. Applicants must have effective communication skills and be able to work collaboratively. Commitment to the education of diverse populations. Successful performance in an on campus interview, including teaching demonstration. Preferred Qualifications Masters degree in statistics and passed multiple actuarial examinations from the Society of Actuaries. Evidence of successfully preparing students to pass examinations from the Society of Actuaries.
