Duties: Teaching responsibilities will include a combination of core engineering classes along with upper-level civil engineering classes in the candidate’s area of expertise, and supervision of senior design projects. Willingness to develop and pursue scholarly work in an area of research that incorporates undergraduate students would be especially welcomed and valued. As a member of a new and growing engineering program, the candidate will have a unique opportunity to develop and shape an innovative program focused on creative design thinking. Requirements: M.S. or Ph.D. in Civil Engineering or related field prior to appointment; previous teaching experience at the university level is preferred. Candidates who are ABD will be considered but must provide clear evidence of completion by December 1, 2018. Review of applications will continue until the position is filled. What will I do in this position?
