These tasks will also concern students’ ability to navigate and understand their account information and payment options as they progress toward degree completion, which significantly influences positive student outcomes. This is a critical and highly visible student service area with daily student and family interaction. This position requires excellent interpersonal skills, strong customer service focus, professional telephone, speaking and writing skills, good analytical and computer skills, and a high degree of accuracy. The incumbent must be able to maintain the confidentiality of students’ records. Overtime is required. Education Required Baccalaureate Minimum Related Experience Level Required 1-2 years experience Additional Education and/or Experience Essential to the Position Two to three years’ experience in a customer service environment, particularly in a higher education setting, is preferred. Bank experience is very helpful. Good analytical, mathematical, computer, communications and interpersonal skills are necessary. Required Licenses/Certifications Child Protection Clearances The following PA Act 153 clearances and background checks may be required prior to commencement of employment and as a condition of continued employment: PA State Police Criminal Record Check, FBI Criminal Record Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance.
