Requirements: A Bachelor's degree in Biology, Neurobiology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related discipline is required, and experience and skill in Electrophysiology. This individual must have excellent interpersonal and quantitative analytical skills
   
Text: This is limited appointment, grant funded position and is not eligible for severance pay. The Allen Discovery Center (see http://allencenter.tufts.edu/) is dedicated to the advancement of basic biology and biomedicine and to using an integrated approach to control biological structures and functions. Novel technology is being developed to modulate the bioelectric communication that enables cells to coordinate their activities toward specific anatomical and functional end-states. This new type of epigenetic control has significant implications for developmental biology, evolution, unconventional computation, and synthetic bioengineering. We are seeking a versatile, experienced, and highly motivated Technician, who will work closely with Center members, providing electrophysiology support in a dynamic, state-of-the-art research environment.
