Requirements: Advanced experience programming Java web applications using a combination of related technologies including but not limited to: Spring, JavaScript, JSP, HTML, XML, CSS, Web Services (REST/SOAP). Experience with Java testing frameworks and tools: Junit, Mockito. Advanced skills to lead a project and work collaboratively with technical and non-technical staff to meet project and organizational goals. Experience with development tools, using both GUI and command-line interfaces: Eclipse IDE, Maven, Git, Bash. Experience with creating queries and stored procedures for Relational (SQL) and NoSQL databases, particularly Oracle and MongoDB

Provide advanced level of technical support and advise management of alternative solutions to complex problems. THIS IS NOT AN H-1B OPPORTUNITY Physical Demands: Work on a personal computer for extended periods of time. Travel to meetings on an as-needed basis. Lift files or supplies weighing up to 25 lbs Work Environment: Position is located in an off-campus site, but might need to travel to campus and medical center for meetings. Work occasional evening, holidays and weekends as needed. Limited vacation usage during peak workload periods. Work in a dynamic, distracting, knowledge sharing environment. Experience designing and implementing complex data-driven, multi-tier web applications which are performant and user-centric. Experience with extrapolating business functions and objectives to technical solutions. Systems analysis and data processing skills to translate manual operations to automated processes. Experience reviewing and producing technical policies, recommendations and analyses. Experience applying application development methodologies and standards. Experience with programming techniques including analysis, flow charting, design, work measurement, data collection, and work flow processing. ___________________________________ Preferred Qualifications: B.S. degree in computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with recent JavaScript technologies: ES6/7, Node.JS, React, Mongoose, Babel, Express, Gulp, Jest, and Apache Struts. Experience with the Kuali Financials or Rice framework. Experience with Code Quality tools: SonarQube, FindBugs, Emma. Experience with deployment tools: Docker, Ansible, Bamboo. Experience with components of a Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery deployment. Interpersonal skills, including tact, diplomacy and flexibility to work with departments, staff, students, administrators, etc. Experience making group presentations and train both technical and non-technical personnel.
