Position: Pensions Administrator
Institution: Zurich Insurance Company Ltd

Duties: Calculate, record, action and peer review all types of pension benefits, including; manual calculations where required, settlement of retirement, transfer and death claims and divorce debits for employees and pensioners. Maintain accurate and relevant records. Deal effectively with member queries by telephone, email and face to face
Requirements: Strong Customer focus and ability to work well within a team. Progress towards PMI qualifications and/or three years relevant pensions administration experience dealing with final salary arrangements. A working knowledge of Microsoft office, including word and excel. Good knowledge of administration and regulations relating to defined benefit and defined contribution pension schemes

You will be responsible for delivering a high quality service to our internal customers with legislation and the trust deed and rules. The team administer the final salary pension arrangements for the Zurich and Endsleigh pension schemes which have a combined membership of around 40,000. Key accountabilities: · Calculate, record, action and peer review all types of pension benefits, including; manual calculations where required, settlement of retirement, transfer and death claims and divorce debits for employees and pensioners. · Maintain accurate and relevant records. · Deal effectively with member queries by telephone, email and face to face. Your skills and experience: · Strong Customer focus and ability to work well within a team. · Progress towards PMI qualifications and/or three years relevant pensions administration experience dealing with final salary arrangements. · A working knowledge of Microsoft office, including word and excel. · Good knowledge of administration and regulations relating to defined benefit and defined contribution pension schemes. · Well organised with good communication skills and the ability to show initiative.
