This role supports the pricing and analysis needed to manage our stop-loss book of business. Working within the pricing and product team this position supports development and maintenance of ad-hoc analysis, rate review, network rating analysis, product form and rate filing, underwriting actuarial support, pricing and admin system actuarial technical expertise. Profile Summary: Seeks to develop a further understanding of theoretical principles and practical Actuarial techniques. Operates with a high degree of autonomy and has full responsibility for the direction and completion of ongoing projects. Profile Description: Coordinate, prepare and perform actuarial analysis to assist in the development of rates, pricing strategies, and financial forecasts used in actuarial recommendations and reporting Develop, extend and/or maintain profit studies, rate files, and procedures Assist in preparation of actuarial response and communication of results of actuarial research to product management areas.
