The Strategic Execution Analyst will provide problem solving, analysis, and other project management support as a member of the Strategic Execution team. Specific responsibilities include: Performing research and/or analyses on multiple projects to identify trends, outliers, and correlations in support of strategic initiatives and/or operational planning Developing project / research plan with limited input from the Manager Structuring analyses and generating insights to address specific problems Leading research using internal and/or external data to complete analyses Defining data requirements and identifying appropriate sources Collecting data and input from other parts of the organization with limited support from the Manager Independently conducting analyses in support of strategic initiatives and/or operational planning; building models to support complex analyses Contributing to the development of visualization/communication tools Identifying gaps in analysis and additional analysis that should be conducted Drawing connections and insights across multiple projects /parts of Zurich Applying industry knowledge to own work and sharing knowledge with other analysts Synthesizing results and insights with limited input of the Manager Developing written communications in MS Power Point or visualizations in Tableau that convey analyses and insights in a cohesive story, and incorporates the work of other analysts Synthesizing work and developing recommendations to Senior Management for review and strategic decision-making Presenting results to management outside the Strategic Execution group Serve as an ambassador for the Strategic Execution team within Zurich (e.g., social, charitable, etc.) Position may require less than 5% travel to Zurich offices within the United States.
