Position: Mathematics Instructor

Duties: The Seattle College District is looking for faculty members to teach a wide range of mathematics courses at the college and pre-college level. Requirements: Demonstrated ability and commitment to teach pre-algebra through calculus and develop relevant curricular materials. Masters Degree in Pure or Applied Mathematics or related field from an accredited institution
   
Text: The Seattle College District is looking for accomplished, creative, and dedicated part-time faculty members to teach a wide range of mathematics courses at the college and pre-college level. The Seattle College District welcomes faculty with a demonstrated commitment to student learning and success. Successful applicants will have the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, staff and others in a campus climate that promotes cultural diversity and multicultural understanding in an urban environment. Specific teaching assignments will be dependent on the instructor's background and division scheduling needs and may be asked to teach at North Seattle, South Seattle, or Seattle Central College. The ability to work collaboratively with others in a professional setting. A clear understanding of the goals and role of the community college.
