An exciting opportunity exists for a Desktop Analyst to work as part of a team that is responsible for providing an efficient desktop service supporting end user computing solutions across all staff and also the student open access areas of the University campus as well as providing support to the Audio Visual systems in use in student labs, classrooms and lecture theatres. Within the Desktop Services Team your primary responsibility will be to respond to Incidents and Requests raised by the University's 3,500 strong workforce of staff and academics. We are looking for people with developed customer service experience and a good technical IT knowledge to enable the efficient support of desktop PCs, laptops, printing, Microsoft Office applications, wireless devices and any Audio Visual support skills would be an advantage. Also you will have gained an ITIL Foundation Certificate (v2 or v3) qualification and possess advanced technical knowledge of Microsoft Windows and/or Apple Mac desktop operating systems.
