The Education and Data Coordinator will work closely with Fellowship Directors, Fellowship Manager and Residency manager to develop and manage database systems and coordinate Education program activities. The restructuring of our education training programs requires the Coordinator to be the sole person who will manage all data and education activities for ACGME and non-ACGME fellowship programs and residency program and track compliance amongst fellows, residents and faculty to ensure all program requirements are met. E-Value is an extremely critical system for fellowship and residency programs, and the Coordinator will be responsible for scheduling validation reports, evaluations and procedure logs for all programs. The Coordinator will work with program coordinators and directors to update and maintain websites. The Coordinator will also be responsible for developing a database for new faculty and monitor compliance for early faculty development requirements. The Coordinator will also play a crucial role in developing tools for NAS and assist with implementation of tools into to database systems for all programs. PEDIATRICS The Department of Pediatrics is one of the largest and most complex departments in the School of Medicine. The department is comprised of 18 fellowship programs, with over 150 fellows and residents. Required Qualifications • College degree, BA or BS • Database and technical proficiency with developing, managing, and maintaining software • Ability to translate analytical and metrics into a database, and responsible for records retention and management for electronic records/files • Database and technical proficiency with developing, managing, and maintaining software • Ability to translate analytical and metrics into a database, and responsible for records retention and management for electronic records/files • Proficient in using Microsoft Access Database, computer skills, in Excel and Word • Outstanding written, verbal, and organizational • Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team and in a self-directed manner and meet deadlines • Ability to deal with large numbers of people on phone, e-mail and in person in a professional and courtesy manner • Ability to handle sensitive personal information appropriately • Ability to independently generate computer reports, checking for errors, correcting and submitting accurate reports • Ability to exercise flexibility, initiative, good judgment, and discretion Note: Fingerprinting and background check required.
