Successful candidates must be able to teach a wide range of courses including developmental mathematics, statistics, linear algebra and differential equations. The ability to use technology to teach mathematics is essential. A minimum of a Master's degree in Mathematics or Statistics is required. A Doctorate in mathematics or mathematics education is preferred. Significant mathematics teaching experience is also required. The HCC Mathematics Division values collaboration and team-work. Candidates should have the ability to lead faculty teams and be available to teach both day and evening sections, as needed. Faculty workload includes student advising and active participation in college activities including events that occur outside the standard work day. Requirements: A minimum of a Master's degree in Mathematics or Statistics is required. Doctorate in Mathematics or Mathematics Education is preferred. Significant Mathematics teaching experience is also required. Additional Information: Hours Per Week: 37.5 Work Schedule: Variable Compensation: Competitive salary starting at $48,923 and is commensurate with experience plus excellent health insurance, paid leave and tuition reimbursement.
