As of 2017-18, we offer BA Criminology, BA Criminology and Policing, and BA Criminology and Security Studies at undergraduate level, and MA Criminology and MA Security Studies at postgraduate level. Both these posts will strengthen our teaching in Security Studies. Please note that for a Lecturer position, holding a PhD in a relevant subject, or being close to finishing one, would be an advantage for an applicant. For senior positions, all applicants are required to have a PhD in a relevant subject. Applicants for the senior position (SL) will need to demonstrate considerable teaching experience; administrative capabilities; and research outputs commensurate with the seniority of the post. All successful candidates will have a combination of a teaching load, administrative responsibilities appropriate to the post held, and research time.
