Description of the job ATR Americas, representing the world leader in the market for regional aircraft up to 90 seats, hires its Deputy Head of Flight Training to oversee new US training satellite to be set-up in Florida early 2017. New Florida-based training organization/center will deliver ATR-600 pilot training under both EASA/ATO and FAA Part 142. Deputy Head of Flight Training will be employed by ATR Americas, and also have a reporting line to the Head of Flight Training in Toulouse (France). He will be responsible for all ATR ground and simulator training and checking performed in the training center. He will specifically ensure that applied standards and training performed comply with ATR standards & training requirements and that the training fulfillment is satisfactory at all levels (theoretical courses, training on simulators and/or ground training. He will continuously evaluate and propose new initiatives to ensure that the training center delivers high-standard training to ATR customers/operators in a safe and cost-efficient way.
