Duties: This position is responsible for the oversight and management of all operational functions for Sponsored Research Administration. Responsible for all personnel related activities for Sponsored Research Administration (SRA). Serves as a liaison with the Office of Human Resources as well as the HR representative for the department. Responsible for reconciling the departmental SRAD budget monthly. Responsible for all procurement activities for SRA. Acts as P-Card proxy for two departmental procurement cards and reconciles monthly. Responsible for all travel activities for SRA staff members, and also serves as travel representative for the department and reconciles three T-Cards. Assists with monitoring and forwarding critical proposal and award confirmation emails from federal agencies to appropriate staff for immediate action. Enters award data into OMNI as needed, including personnel change requests. Responsible for coordinating training schedule, office orders, managing conference rooms, and for training and supervision of 4 student workers. Responsible for oversight of building and equipment. Serves as property coordinator (conducts physical inventory, oversees physical relocations, etc.) Serves as liaison for maintenance of building. Coordinates and supervises equipment maintenance contracts/repairs. Processes and distributes all incoming and outgoing mail for SRA including updating the contract and proposal logs. Serves as the first point of contact for visitors including greeting guests and answering and routing telephone calls. Performs administrative duties for the Director, Associate Directors, and Assistant Directors. Conducts research and gathers data for special projects and prepares reports of a general nature as requested
Requirements: High school diploma/equivalency and four years of experience; or a combination of post-high school education and experience equal to four years; Experience reconciling budgets; Experience working with projects that require attention to detail, meeting project deadlines, and working independently; Experience communicating effectively verbally and in writing; Experience working with Excel, Word, and Outlook or equivalent software. **Applicants must upload a cover letter and resume with the online application.

Anticipated Salary Range $28,000 - $38,000 annually Pay Plan This is an USPS (University Support Personnel System) position. Soft Money Funded Position This position is time-limited based on soft money funding, with renewal contingent upon available funds and the needs of the University.
