Are you interested in joining a small team that has constant exposure to senior leadership? US Consumer Markets Claims is currently looking for a senior business analyst to help lead the monthly operating review process. This position requires both a broad and deep understanding of the claims operation as you help explain the complex relationship between operational metrics and overall results observed through loss costs, expenses and customer experience. As a member of the Financial Business Intelligence team, you will work on month end reporting and analysis, as well as deep-dive analyses, and various ad-hoc projects. You will report on and assess multiple lines of business, and will have exposure to key stakeholders throughout the organization, including the Claims leadership team. Responsibilities: Support the Claims organization through monitoring of key financial and operational performance indicators across all lines of business. Help identify, define, and track the metrics that act as leading indicators of operational health of the Claims operation. Key contributor to the Monthly Operation Review process, which includes coordinating analysis across teams, and making sure that slides have necessary support for Chief Claims Officer to understand and present to senior management. Take leadership role across Claims teams to address management questions on operating results. This will require you to perform individual analysis, and present findings, or for you to gain support and insight from other Claims operating areas. Apply necessary frameworks and project management skills to work through deliverables, including cross-functional work with Claims product teams and field operations to identify underlying drivers of operational results and emerging trends. Provide analysis for mid-month forecast of operational and financial results. Work with functional groups outside of Claims (including Actuarial, Finance, and Product Management) to share knowledge of current issues affecting one another’s results. Foster relationships with other stakeholders within Claims, to ensure alignment, and gather additional insights into drivers of results. Develop presentations monthly and on an ad-hoc basis to highlight findings and areas of concern for the senior leadership to act upon. ',' Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training required; focused study in areas like Finance, Economics, and Mathematics preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years relevant work experience - experience within the P&C industry highly desirable. Master’s degree and CPCU highly desirable Proven track record of strong analytical and problem solving skills.
